Doctor Who is a 1962 Triumph 6T pre unit. Rob from Connecticut approached us about a build after seeing the Black Bike. Initially Rob wanted us to do a running mockup which he would then disassemble and paint. From there, we decided that the engine and trans should be rebuilt and it should leave with a painted frame so the engine and trans didn't have to come back out. Sometime around July of 2009, Rob said "Maybe you should go ahead and paint the tins and make it an Atom Bomb bike." Here's what we ended up with. Doctor Who was featured in issue #13 of Greasy Kulture Magazine.  

On a personal note, I wanted to let Rob know how much fun I've had working this bike out over the phone...and how much fun I had doing a whole bunch of stuff without asking that I hope you'll like. Though you approached the shop as a customer you'll remain a lifelong friend, and that makes this whole deal worthwhile.- Clay Rathburn
