The Black Bike
This 1958 BSA A10 was the first official Atom Bomb bike. Bought over the Internet, it arrived as a totally destroyed stock frame and a locked up engine full of salt water. Clay spent nearly 900 hours building what you see here now. From the custom frame and handbuilt tins to the carefully assembled engine, Clay's almost obsessive attention to detail paid off in the form of international recognition and later, a very satisfied owner. The Black Bike was the cover bike for issue #8 of Greasy Kulture Magazine, and was featured in issue #83 of The Horse.
